4TH,5TH, AND 6TH GRADE TEAMS WILL STILL PLAY IN SUNDAY FALL LEAGUE:

UPDATE

Good Morning Everyone

League games were very competative this weekend. 4th grade and 5th grade Magic teams played with fewer nerves and were able to capture wins against the Lady Cardinals and Lady Cougars. Great to see the young girls translate practice play into game play. Still a lot of growth and development but definitely headed in the right direction.

Our 6^th grade girls pull off a close one point win against the a very strong Tukwila Reign.

Our 7^th grade teams played well. Northwest Magic Olympia lose by 3 and Northwest Magic Tacoma win by 7 against Issaquahs top A team.

Eighth graders split there games this weekend 1-1, losing against Shotcallers and beating Lady Gators.

Overall , it was a great Magic showing!!

Update

Good Morning Everyone

In their debut league game our 4th grade and 5th grade Magic teams were full of nerves. Once the nerves settled, we saw glimpses of who this team will be in the very near future. I am so excited about where they are now and where they are going to be.

Overall we saw a lot of good things from our first time players on the 4th and 5th grade team and good leadership from our veteran players on the 6th and 7th grade teams. Our 8th grade girls had a bye week. We have some stuff to work on, but who doesn't at this time of year. This weekends games, especially with our 4th and 5th grade teams, provided us with some ideas of where we need to go next. All in all a good showing for the girls!

FYI: We are in the process of revising this years tournament entries to include one magic hosted tournament and one other tournament within the month....Details will be provided by your team administrators by November 1, 2010.

Please let Vanessa know asap if your player will be late or will not be attending practices, trainings, or league games this week

We are moving to the next phase of development. Practices will become a little more challenging and may test the strength of their commitment to basketball. Things will be hard but they will be rewarding for the girls. Thank you for your continued support and trust in your players development and growth. GO MAGIC!!!!
