NW Magic Girls at 2009 Adidas Jr Phenom Camp in San Diego, CA

Northwest Magic 8th graders receive All-Star recognition at the regional Adidas Jr. Phenom Camp and travel to San Diego for a 3 day training event where they had the opportunity to compete with All-Star players and coaches from across the nation.

Adidas Hoosier Hardwood July 2009

NW Magic Elite team travels to Indiana to participate in Showcase Tournament and Clinic. Coaches Vanessa McClendon and Joyce Walker are invited to assist with Clinic.

Adidas Summer Slam July 2009

The Elite Team hits the road, first stop the Adidas Summer Slam Showcase Tournament in Beaverton, Oregon, coming away with a respectable 3rd place finish playing amongst the best AAU Teams in the West.

Riverside Independence Day Tournament July 2009

Kicking off the July Tournament Schedule, Northwest Magic Elite team competes in the Riverside Independence Day Tournament, placing a close 2nd to Tree of Hope. Northwest Magic 14U/8th grade team places 3rd in the combined 8th/9th grade division.

WTA Slamma Jamma May 2009

Northwest Magic Girls Basketball makes its debut at the WTA Slamma Jamma, fielding two teams in the 8th grade division and teams in the High School All-Star and Elite divisions. Northwest Magic East meets West in the 8th Grade Division Finals, with West taking home the championship. Northwest Magic places 3rd in the High School Elite Division. A good time was had by all, as players, friends and family gathered at the Northwest Magic Tent between games to hang out and enjoy the weekend's basketball activitites.
